Sign the World Family Declaration!

Sign the World Family Declaration

Marriage between one man and woman are under attack. Children are becoming wards of the state. The dignity of the family is being disgraced because family simply is reduced to an account in the consumer economy but is no longer regarded as a moral institution in the upbringing of children and as a place of rest and faithfulness. I needed to voice my opposition to this antichristian trend because the attack on the traditional family is doing great harm to our society esp. the children. Here is the full text of the declaration:

We the people of many lands and cultures reaffirm the truth enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and echoed in international treaties and many of our national constitutions, that “The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.” Hence the family exists prior to the state and possesses inherent dignity and rights which states are morally bound to respect and protect.

We declare that the family, a universal community based on the marital union of a man and a woman, is the bedrock of society, the strength of our nations, and the hope of humanity. As the ultimate foundation of every civilization known to history, the family is the proven bulwark of liberty and the key to development, prosperity, and peace.

Parental Rights: Legalize homeschooling in Germany

Germany’s educational system is turning into a socialistic forced re-education camp. In Berlin 1st graders are being taught that a family consists of a man and a man or a woman with a woman. They call it “gender mainstreaming” and they are misleading young souls and deceive them with sinful ways of life presenting them as an alternative lifestyle. That is what happens when a society no longer has a final authority – the word of God – and is left to the imagination of their evil heart (Jer. 3:16). That is why America cannot afford to become an ObamaNation for another 4 years.  With God’s help we can change to the right. That is why it is smart to consider abolishing the department of education that was just stated in 1980. American education was at its best when there were small schools in communities and textbooks based on a Christian worldview were used.

Now there is a petition out there to a particular German state where Baptists have been imprisoned because they refused to let their elementary school children participate in subversive sex education program that were anti-family, anti-marriage and anti-abstinence.

Since the days of Adolf Hitler’s education law in 1938 homeschooling has not been allowed in Germany but there exists a compulsory school attendance law in every German state. Those who homeschool in Germany have faced outrageous fines in excess of $10,000, had their homes raided by police, lost custody of their children, had their children taken from them by arrogant social workers. Children were removed from homes by social workers and put into government custody. Parents in the state of Northrhine-Westphalia have been repeatedly imprisoned for homeschooling their children. Homeschooling families have fled Germany and gone to Austria, Norway, Britain and the US. In fact, one family was granted asylum in the state of Tennessee. The states of Tennessee and Georgia released unanimous resolutions calling on Germany to respect parental rights such as the right of parents to guide the upbringing and education of their own children. But in Germany children have become a ward of the state and government control of childrearing and education is increasing through legal changes under the Merkel and Schröder administration. We must reverse this trend and stop the criminalization of traditional family in Germany. No parent should be imprisoned for homeschooling. No parent should be imprisoned for taking their children out of licentious and questionable “sex education” programs. Education is a state matter in Germany, so this petition is addressed to the governer (Ministerpräsidentin) of the state of Northrhine-Westphalia where I live and which is most notorious for repeatedly imprisoning Christian mothers and father for homeschooling or releasing their children from classes that oppose their Christian views. Please sign the petition below!

A Christian woman from Georgia commented on the German developments: “I find it really sad that the children there are subjected to that kind of teaching. I don’t understand how schools can teach against Christianity.” She wanted to be added to the list of petitioners. Please get involved now and share this news with others.

Are You Being Overruled?

ParentalRights.Org released an online docudrama, Overruled: Government Invasion of Your Parental Rights, which outlines today’s dangers facing American parents in their ability to direct the upbringing and education of their children.

The film, which runs 35 minutes at OverruledMovie.com, focuses on three real-life American family cases in which parental rights were egregiously violated by the government: a medical care case, an educational freedom case, and a religious freedom case. The movie also warns against adoption of the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child. This treaty would override virtually all child and family laws in the United States and grant ultimate authority to international bureaucrats.

Overruled describes why the adoption of the proposed Parental Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is the only means to halt the parental rights violations which are taking place all over America.

“American parents just assume that their traditional right to make sound decisions for their children is fully protected in our legal system,” said Michael Farris, President of ParentalRights.org. He added, “Overruled reveals how precarious our rights are in today’s legal climate – and the movie makes it clear that we can and must fix the problem before it is too late.”

Fortunately, the American people overwhelmingly support traditional parental rights. A Zogby poll last year that surveyed over 2,000 people found that 93% of Americans agree with the traditional definition of parental rights, which is the ability to raise their children free from government interference so long as no abuse or neglect is taking place. Farris said, “We need to capitalize on this strong support all across the country and pass the Parental Rights Amendment to prevent government officials from unnecessarily interfering with families.”

Scott Scharpen, the film’s Executive Producer and chairman of the board of ParentalRights.Org, was proud to announce that Overruled is presented by ParentalRights.Org, a non-profit grassroots organization focused on passing the Parental Rights Amendment. Overruled is available online free of charge at OverruledMovie.com.

There was a time in America when parents were extremely in the education of their children. Parents were even present in supporting the work in public schools in the communities. Nowadays public schools are built like prison complexes and the influence ends at the school threshold. In some schools parents are not even allowed to take photos of their own children during activities on school grounds. This is un-American, unchristian and it violates fundamental natural rights of parents that have been watered down gradually through liberal-leftist court decisions.

Please watch this movie and pass it on to others. If you haven’t done it yet, please sign the petition to pass a parental rights amendment to the US Constitution to ensure that government will not remove children from homes unless their is genuine evidence of abuse or neglect. The right of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children needs to codified into law so that international agreements (UNCRC) cannot supersede state laws on education or family policy. Please make sure that you as a parent will not be overruled by leftist in government bureaucracies when it comes to the upbringing of your children.

Significant Risk of Injury to Children

ParentalRights.org recently reported that the near-bankrupt big government Nanny State considers back-yard games for children to be dangerous! Consider this:

This week is National Backyard Games Week, a time to remember the games you played as a child and pass them on to the next generation. But be sure you take the chance now, before those games are outlawed.

According to several news stories including this one from Time, a New York state law passed in 2009 and scheduled to take effect this summer will have the state Department of Health (DOH) set a list of games “with significant risk of injury” to kids. Games included on the list will require additional state oversight and even licensure for camps or child care providers hosting the games. As recently as last month, the list included red rover, wiffle ball, kickball, any variety of tag, and other childhood favorites.

Fortunately, the DOH has pulled the list for now and promised a whole new guide book. But the law remains, and the new guidelines are still unknown.

The very fact that the DOH has such power in the first place is troubling, and would become much more so if the United States were to ratify the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

That’s because the CRC asserts that “In all actions concerning children…the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration,” and “that a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will, except when competent authorities … determine…that such separation is necessary for the best interests of the child.” (CRC articles 2 and 9, emphasis added) No showing of abuse or neglect is needed, no imminent danger to the child. Allowing a child to play a game which the government has deemed to involve “significant risk of injury” to kids could certainly be sufficient cause to have your child removed from your custody.

Government is wrong! Most children today lack outdoor experience and exercise. In fact, it is a blessing when children can learn from  the parent or grandparent how to plant and keep a garden and how to play with other children outdoors. The real dangers for children are lying in wait indoors and many times they start with the letter i… (-phone, -pad, -pod …) in addition to addictive antisocial networks, perverse or brutal games, indecency on TV, pagan lecherous dress habits advertised on TV and media mega stars and idols whore are unfit to be role models for our young people.

Remember the goal that God establishes for children! Jesus says:  Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me.” Mt. 19:13. Children need to be brought to Jesus for of such is the kingdom of God! Bring children to Jesus by teaching them the scriptures just like little Timothy was taught (2. Tim. 3:14,15). The Lord even further defines the plan for children: “having his children in subjection with all gravity (1. Tim 3:4) … ruling their children and their own houses well (1. Tim. 3:12) … faithful children not accused of riot or unruly (Tit. 1:6). How can you realize these goals when children are addicted to facebook but not facing the book of God? How can you realize God’s plan for children when they want a cell phone more than spending time communicating with God in prayer? How can a child learn to love and worship Jesus when the culture pressures our children to worship worldly idols such as Lady Gaga, Hannah Montana, sports stars, Hollywood actors? We should not judge these people or hate them because they themselves have a need for Jesus and salvation in their lives, but it is unwise to leave our children exposed to the hype that is made about these idols of worldy popularity. It all boils down to this: What are your children exited about? Teach them to be fired up about Jesus, the Bible, the local church and soulwinning. In a Christian home the children are not exited about worldly pop stars but about missionaries, historic Christian figures, America’s founders, educators, military heores and godly presidents. Amen and Amen!

Not the outdoor games should be outlawed but rather wicked hellevision programs such as “children’s sitcoms” where young minds are being sexualized and robbed of that innocent sense of purity children have. Who ever thought of that wicked idea to exploit children’s entertainment to send sublime messages to their hearts that will hinder them from serving God? God forbid!

Make sure children learn to love the outdoors and to love reading good books, while leaving the TV and the pop stars alone. You can immunize them against the ungodly pop culture where they don’t have the slightest appetite for it. And that is the Lord’s work in our time that we populate heaven with souls that have been led to Christ through godly homes.

The danger to our children are not the outdoor games but the greatest menace to our future destiny as a nation is the lazy, spoiled couch potato who doesn’t want to work but just get entertained with worldliness. The addictive media gadgets and the worldly pop culture are the greatest risk of injury to the soul and character of a child. It is our supreme duty to protect the purity of our children by guarding their hearts.

This summer enjoy the outdoors with your children. Take a walk together and play some backyard games!
