Plano, Texas Equal Rights Policy Endangers Religious Liberty

There is more liberal big government legislation infiltrating southern cities that are in violation of traditional American and Christian Biblical principles and in total opposition to the way of life cherished by American for decades.

The city of Plano, Texas has passed an equal rights policy that would endanger religious liberty as it already did in Houston, Texas. This policy would penalize preachers who preach against sodomy, business owners such as bakeries, florists or photographers who refuse to cater to a “gay marriage” ceremony because it violates their conscience and deeply held Christian beliefs.

Therefore, please read and send the following message to Plano, TX mayor Harry LaRosiliere:

Tell Plano, TX mayor that Equal Rights Policy violates US Constitution and stifles religious freedom!

Plano, TX is the hometown of the Liberty Institute which helps defend religious freedom against socialist and liberal infringements in the USA. It is sad that the city won’t even listen to this hometown organisation. This reminds me of the following scriptures:

And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. Luke 13:57.

They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly. Amos 5:10.

The Liberty Institute has a good article on this:

Please tell the mayor we don’t want anymore subpoenaed sermons, Christian bakers sued and put out of business, and no more government schools teaching little children about abominable sexual activities in the name of “equal rights” or socialist “gender mainstreaming”.  This is a Christian nation and we reject the things which violate the gospel. We as individuals don’t want our lives run neither by corporations nor by governments who want to subject us to their ideas of what life, love and living should be like. God is our source and therefore the supreme authority in our life is the word of God revealed to us in the King James Bible.
